Introduction
Recurring events are events that can be set to repeat on a regular basis. Setting up a recurring event helps the host avoid creating the same event multiple times.
You can create a recurring event from scratch, or you can modify existing events.
How to Add a Recurring Event to an Existing Event
To access your events list, login to VisitorOS, then select from the left-hand navigation menu. Select an existing event that you would like to edit to open the event settings menu. Toggle the setting on to launch the recurring event menu.
You can adjust the following settings for a recurring event:
- Recurrence Pattern: select whether the event should recur on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- If you select Daily, the event will recur each day at the start time of the original event. You can also use the menu to set the event to repeat a certain number of days.
- If you select Weekly, you will be prompted to select a day of the week for the event.
- If you select Monthly, you will be prompted to select a date of the month for the event. You can set the event to recur on the same calendar day each month, or on the same day and week (i.e. on the third Thursday of each month, regardless of calendar date).
- Range of Recurrence: Use this option to specify a specific date, or specific number of events, after which the event series will end.
After making any changes to a recurring event, be sure to hit in the top-right corner to save your changes.
A recurring event will have this icon next to its title under the Events tab.
