Setting up Voice Notifications - New Portal

Use the voice notifications function to allow hosts to receive a phone call notifying them that they have a visitor every time a guest signs in. This is an optional feature, in addition to email and SMS notifications for hosts.

 

Configuring Voice Notifications

Voice notifications are part of the Address Book feature, which is managed in FacilityOS. To access the Address Book, navigate to https://facilityos.goilobby.com/ and sign-in.

 

Once you are logged in, click the Manage icon > Address Book, as shown below.

 

From the address book, select the user profile of the host who needs Voice Notifications activated. 

  • Ensure that the "Voice" box is checked off under notification preferences.
  • Ensure that the correct phone number for the host is recorded.
    •  When you select a country by clicking the flag in the drop-down menu, the country code will automatically be added to the number, so you only need to worry about the host's dialing number.
