Visitor Type Settings Explained

Title: This is the name of the custom visitor type. Examples of titles could be contactor, employee, auditor, inspector, etc.

Screen Label: This is how the visitor type will be displayed on the iLobby kiosk during the sign-in process. Note that the screen label begins with the words "I am..." by default, so you only need to input the text to display afterwards.

-Note: If more than one language is enabled for your account, you can localize the screen text labels.  Select the appropriate language from the list.  The English text will then be translated into the appropriate language.  If necessary, the screen label is still editable after translation.

Hide on Devices: When toggled on, this visitor type will not be available for kiosk sign-ins, but it will still be available for other channels, such as event invitations and pre-registration.

Auto-Assign Host: This setting always assigns visitors of this type to a specific host. Note that the visitor can still edit their host on the kiosk, but the auto-assigned host will be pre-populated as the default option.

Badge Header Color: If this visitor requires a physical badge, you can customize the header color for the badge by selecting the color from the list as shown below:

Select to save changes, then click again on the Visitor Types menu.

To rearrange the order visitor types are displayed on the iLobby kiosk, select the to left of the visitor type, drag and drop to the desired location.

To delete a visitor type, click on the next to it.
