The first step to completing a safe evacuation is deciding on a safe place(s) your team can meet and shelter until the situation has been resolved. In iLobby’s EmergencyOS a mustering point is a designated location where all employees and visitors will gather in case of an emergency. Depending on the size of your workplace, there may be multiple mustering points. It's crucial for safety officers to inform employees and visitors about the specific mustering point assigned to them.
Get Started Designating a Mustering Point
- Start by logging in to FacilityOS
- Select
- Under Emergency OS select
- Once logged into EmergencyOS select the
then select Sites
- From the Sites listing select the desired site, this will direct you to the Site Details page where you can designate your mustering point(s).
- Under the Mustering Points section select
- Enter a descriptive Name for the Mustering Point
- Enter an Address for the Mustering Point
- Enter an Estimated Time to Mustering Point. This estimated time will be used for reporting purposes post evacuation when reviewing the total time taken to get everyone onsite to safety and then to return them to productivity post evacuation.
- Assign a single or multiple Safety Officers who will be responsible for monitoring this Mustering Point
- Select
to finalize the Mustering Point
- Repeat steps to add multiple Mustering Points
Note: The SMS evacuation message will only indicate the name(s) of the mustering point (e.g., North parking Structure) without specific instructions on how to reach it. It is essential for all employees and visitors to be familiar with the location of their designated mustering point.
