Installing and Using the iLobby Mobile Companion App

Introduction

The iLobby mobile companion app is used to track visitor records, launch evacuations, and sign in quickly as an employee using the employee pass feature.

 

Note: You must have an existing user account in your iLobby system to be able to login to the iLobby mobile app.

 

 

App Installation

iPhone Installation

In order to download and install the iLobby app on an iPhone, please take the following steps:

  1. Go to the Apple App Store and search for “iLobby Visitor Registration”. The app logo is a dark blue square with a white “iLobby” logo inside it:

  2. Tap “Get” to download and install the app. Once it is finished installing, tap the app on your iPhone home screen to open it.
  3. Once the app is open, use your iLobby portal login to log into the app, either by a email/password combination, or via SSO.

  1. Select the site that you would like to view. (This depends on whether or not you are an administrative user, and which site(s) you are currently assigned to in your iLobby company account.)
  2. Once you have selected the site you would like to view, you will be brought to the home page of the app. You have now successfully installed and launched the iLobby mobile companion app on your iPhone!

 

Android Installation

In order to download and install the iLobby app on your Android device, please take the following steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Store, and search for “iLobby Visitor Registration”. The app logo should appear the same as the iPhone version.
  2. Tap the “Install” button to download and install the app.
  3. Once the app is open, use your iLobby portal login to login to the app, either by a email/password combination, or via SSO.
  4. Select the site that you would like to view. (This depends on whether or not you are an administrative user, and which site(s) you are currently assigned to in your iLobby company account.)

 

 

App Overview

Home Page

The “Home” page is where you will be able to see your currently signed in visitors, as well as which visitors are expected to be signing in for upcoming events or meetings.

Visitors

The “Visitors” tab is where you will be able to see a full list of all visitors at a given site from the site’s creation. You can search for specific visitors using the search bar at the top of the screen.

Middle Arrow Button (^)

The button in the middle labelled with an arrow pointing up (^) is used to sign visitors in, sign visitors out, sign yourself in, and start an evacuation.

 

Pass

The pass tab is where you will be able to find your employee pass, if the Employee Pass Add-On has been purchased and enabled at your facility. Using this pass, you will be able to expedite your sign in at the iLobby kiosk as an employee.

 

My Profile

The “My Profile” tab is where you are able to set an Out of Office status, and even forward your notifications to someone else in the event that you are unable to take visitors. Additionally for iPhone users, you can enable Face ID for the app here. Finally, this tab is also where you can sign out of the mobile app, should you ever need to.
