Purpose: This guide will provide you with everything you need to know to unbox and set-up your new iLobby Kiosk from start to finish. This will set you up to start signing in your visitors immediately.
Who: Anyone setting up the iLobby Kiosk.
Step 1: Begin by opening the iLobby box. You should find the following items:
- An iPad already in the Anti-theft case with the white charging cable attached
- A printer with adapter and charging cables (depending on your subscription level)
- An Instruction Card
Step 2: Find a location next to an outlet for your iLobby kiosk to be stationed. The anti-theft case allows you to mount the kiosk to a desk or the wall. Note: Additional screws may be required for wall mount.
Step 3: Using the white cable attached to the iPad, plug this in to an electrical outlet. The iPad will then automatically turn on.
Step 4: If your subscription came with a printer, connect the cable to the adaptor and plug the printer into the wall. Turn the printer on. Badge rolls are already pre-filled in the printer for you.
Step 5: Connect the iPad to the company wifi by going into the iPad Settings > Wifi and selecting the correct Wifi. The printer is pre-set to automatically connect to the iPad via Bluetooth.
Step 6: Your iLobby kiosk is now set up. Visitors can now begin using your iLobby kiosk to sign in.
