Using the FacilityOS Dashboard

Introduction

We’ve introduced a new dashboard for the FacilityOS homepage. This dashboard gives administrators a real-time view into activities across all sites, facilities and modules.

The dashboard works by aggregating data from all sites and modules into a single visual overview, enabling administrators to quickly gain insight into the activity going on at all their facilities.

Who Can Access the Dashboard

The FacilityOS Dashboard is available for Account Administrators, who can view all activities taking place at all sites within their account.

Users with site-level administrator access can also use the FacilityOS Dashboard to view real-time activities for their assigned sites.

Finally, the FacilityOS Dashboard is a configurable permission which can be added to any custom role.

Features of the FacilityOS Dashboard

There are three main components to the FacilityOS Dashboard:

Using the Live Feed

The Live Feed gives you a unified log of all activities taking place at each site for all the iLobby modules (VisitorOS, EmergencyOS, etc.) that you are subscribed to.

The feed is arranged in chronological order with the most recent activities at the top. All activities from VisitorOS, EmergencyOS and other modules, such as visitor sign-ins/sign-outs, event creations, credentials issued, drills and evacuations, are shown in the live feed.

Using the Map

The map shows a geographical distribution of all sites on an account.

For clients whose sites are concentrated in a specific geographic area, you can adjust the map by using the zoom-in/zoom-out buttons on the bottom left of the map, or click-and-drag the map to adjust its orientation.

The map dots will update in real time with different colors based on certain activities in progress at a site.

  • Green: A site is shown as a static green dot by default.
  • Blinking Green: A blinking green light indicates that an activity has taken place on a site. Activities include visitor sign-in/sign-out, visitor credentials issued, parcel received or parcel picked up. Activities will also show up in the live-feed as they are created.
  • Blinking Yellow: A blinking yellow light indicates that an active drill is in progress at the site via EmergencyOS.
  • Blinking Red: A blinking red light indicates that an active emergency is in progress at the site via EmergencyOS.

Using the Key Metrics Bar

The key metrics bar shows a count of the most important activities taken on an account or a site. To toggle between the overall account and a specific site, click the “All Sites” button in the top-left corner and select your desired site.

The metrics that are visible in the Key Metrics Bar include:

  • Total Signed-In Visitors – The total number of visitors currently signed-in across all sites, or at specific sites.
  • Total Active Evacuations – The total number of sites currently in an active evacuation.
  • Total Deliveries – The number of deliveries managed by DeliveryOS.
  • Issued Credentials – The number of visitors who were issued physical badges via VisitorOS.

Note that in order to see a specific key metric, the account must have access to the specific module that facilitates that metric, and the user must have an administrator role or custom role with Dashboard permissions within that module.
