Editing Existing Visitor Types Using the Old VisitorOS Portal

iLobby understands the importance of ensuring visitors are categorized accurately according to your organization’s data retention requirements.  The ability to edit and customize existing visitor types is one more way iLobby ensures you control your data your way.  Get started editing existing visitor types.

 

To edit a visitor type:

  1. To begin start by selecting the Gear Icon 
  2. Select 
  3. Select Site 
  4. Select the Personalization Tab
  5. Once arrived on the Personalization tab, under the  section, select 
  6. Select theto the right of the visitor type you wish to edit  
      
      
     
  7. Edits can be made to the below fields.  Make any necessary edits to the visitor type.
    • Title: Edit the name of the visitor type
    • Screen Label: Edit the text displayed on the kiosk screen selectable by visitors

      Note: If more than one language is enabled for your account, you can localize the screen text labels.  Select the appropriate language from the list.  The English text will then be translated into the appropriate language.  If necessary, the screen label is still editable after translation.   
        
       
    • Auto Assign Host: Use the  to turn this feature on/off or edit the assigned host to receive notifications whenever someone of this visitor type arrives.  
        
       
    • Hide on Device: Use the to tun this feature on or off if this visitor type should not be displayed or selectable on kiosk device. 
    • Badge Header Color: Select the arrow to open the drop-down menu accessing available badge header colors for printed badges.  
        
        
       
  8. Select  to save changes returning you to the Visitor Types screen.
  9. To rearrange the order visitor types are displayed on the iLobby kiosk, select  to left of the visitor type, drag and drop to the desired location. 
  10. To delete a visitor type, click on the next to it.
