Roll Call Evacuation Using the iLobby Companion App

Purpose:

The purpose of this guide is to navigate EmergencyOS users on how to manage an evacuation at their site using the Roll Call Method on the iLobby Companion App. 

Who:

This guide is intended for Account Administrators, Site Administrators and Safety Officers that have access to EmergencyOS.

Running an evacuation using the iLobby Roll Call toll is an easy way to digitize your existing roll call process. The Roll Call method allows Safety Officers to ensure all employees and visitors have exited the building safely while using a familiar an efficient process.

 

Roll Call Evacuation using the iLobby Mobile App 

1. To initiate an evacuation from the mobile app, begin by opening the iLobby application and selecting the , then select Start Evacuation. Select the applicable Site, Mustering Point and Nature of Emergency, enter any customer Messages and click

2. Once an evacuation has begun, you will be directed to the Roll Call screen. This will be your home screen when an evacuation is in progress, comprising data on the status of your evacuation 

  • When an evacuation has first started, all participating evacuees will be listed and the total number of evacuees to be accounted for will be captured in the All box. As evacuees arrive at the mustering points and statuses are assigned, a tally will be kept in the Safe, Unsafe and Evacuating boxes. 
  • Tapping on an evacuee will bring up the Status Update selector for that individual. A Safety Officer will assign the At Mustering Point status once the evacuee has reached a designated mustering point. The Out of Office status will be assigned if an evacuee is not at the site for that particular day. The Evacuating status will be assigned when an evacuee is evacuating the site but has not yet reached the mustering point. Finally, the Assistance Required status will be assigned if an evacuee requires assistance in exiting the site. After a status has been picked for the individual, select Update Status.

  • As statuses are updates, evacuees with the Assistance Required status will be displayed with a . Evacuees that have been updated with the At Mustering Point status, will be displayed with a 
  • To quickly mark an evacuee as safe, you can swipe all the way to the left to auto-mark them as Safe
  • Additionally, if employees have the iLobby Companion App, they have the ability to mark themselves as safe during an evacuation.

3. Once all evacuees have been marked as safe, select the to return to the main menu. Ensure that the total number of evacuees matches the number of evacuees marked as safe. Once verified, you can select Confirm to finish the evacuation.
