Introduction
Drill Scheduling is a feature designed to help you stay on track with your safety drills by providing timely reminders and a centralized place to log completed drills.
With Drill Scheduling, you can set your preferred cadence (e.g. every 3 months, 6 months, etc) under your drill preferences. Based on this, our system will suggest a target date for your next drill and send you automated reminders ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Here's how the reminder system works:
- You'll set up your drill preferences and how often you intend to run drills for your site. In EmergencyOS, go to: Settings - [Site Name] - Site Details
- You'll receive a notification 30 days before the date by which your next drill is due
- If the drill hasn't been completed on the scheduled date, an overdue notice will be sent on the day after the drill was due.
- Still not completed? We'll send recurring notifications every 30 days until a drill has been logged.
- Every 90 days we will send general drill reminder if no drill has been conducted within the last 90 days
A few key things to keep in mind:
- Your last completed drill date determines the next one.
- The system automatically updates once a drill is completed.
- Drill Reminders can be toggled on/off in your notifications settings.
- Any Roles including custom made ones such as Safety Officers and Account Admins etc can be the recipients of these notifications. *To add a custom role- Under Add Role, Under setting permissions select sites( View, update, and delete sites and its attributes)*
Each email reminder will include:
- The date of your last drill
- The next scheduled drill date
- Days overdue, if applicable.
